Hornby Arts is seeking a post secondary student to join our team as an Exhibitions and Visitor Services Assistant at the Hornby Arts Centre.

This is a hands on, learning focused role within a newly opened public cultural facility. Over the summer months, the Centre hosts exhibitions, events, workshops, and community programming for both residents and visitors, offering a dynamic and engaging environment to gain experience in the arts and heritage sector.


About the role

Working under the supervision of the Executive Director, you will support the day to day public operation of the Arts Centre, including visitor services, exhibitions, and programming.

Who we are looking for

An academic background in visual arts, art history, curatorial studies, cultural studies, communications, history, Indigenous studies, community development, or nonprofit administration is an asset, but not required.
